It is an excellent base to explore the Whithorn peninsula, with its spectacular coastlines in every direction. The area is steeped in history with sites dating back to the 5th Century. Visit the nearby book town, Wigtown, a lowland distillery and two golf courses. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
