An all year round destination, with local amenities including hill walking, pony trekking, fishing and in season skiing at both the Lecht and Glen Shee Ski Centres. Within close proximity, a branch of the well-known Winram's Antiquarian Bookshop as well as two other second hand book shops nearby, with every category of book imaginable! Other attractions include a large variety of castles and gardens, which have been formed into a well organised trail and, for the more adventurous, enjoy a spot of gliding at the nearby gliding centre.
