Courtyard setting Situated in a cobbled courtyard setting and just a stone's throw from the busy little town centre of Kirkby Stephen with its brightly painted shops and old coaching inns. This terraced cottage is well designed, light and airy, as well as enjoying views from the second floor bedroom towards the Pennines. It is warm, well equipped, and within walking distance of the picturesque riverside, with picnic and play area. A good base from which to explore the peaceful Eden Valley, the rugged Lake District and the rolling hills of the pretty Yorkshire Dales. Visit Brough, with its ruined castle and 11th century church or enjoy a day trip on the Settle-Carlisle Railway. This gives a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some spectacular scenery and the station is about 2 miles away. Shops, pubs and restaurants 50 yards. First floor: Lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin, 1 double bedroom. Second floor: 1 twin bedroom. Gas central heating, all fuel and power included in rent, bed linen and towels included in rent, colour TV, microwave. One small pet welcome. No smoking please. Friday to Friday changeover day.
