Public footpaths are accessible from the doorstep and the Heritage Coast, Kielder Forest and Hadrian's Wall are all within easy reach. The historic market towns of Alnwick, with its gardens, Rothbury and Morpeth are all within 10 miles and the Metro Centre is also readily accessible. Local amenities include golf, horse riding, swimming, clay pigeon shooting and theatre/cinemas. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.75 miles.
