It is also the home of a museum, devoted to lighthouse keeper's daughter Grace Darling, who rowed out with her father to rescue shipwreck survivors in 1838. Visit Lindisfarne Castle, the Farne Islands and the harbour town of Beadnell, with its two mile sandy shoreline.
