From the lounge there are patio doors leading to a delightful patio garden, and there are excellent views towards Whitby Abbey and the North York Moors. Attractions in Whitby include the famous abbey, museum, ghost walks, antiques shops and numerous cafés and restaurants. Being only a short distance to the coast, and 5 minutes from Whitby centre. The cottage makes a good base for this stretch of the coast and the North York Moors with "Heartbeat" country a short drive away. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
