The property is located in a peaceful rural area, just one mile from the local village. There is a yard in front of the property, which is solely for the use of visitors. Co. Cavan with its many lakes is ideal for outdoor activities such as walking, climbing and fishing. There are many areas of historical interest to be explored, such as Augnacliffe Dolmen. Alternatively go to the cinema or the swimming pool, which are both nearby. There are Heritage Centres at Newtown Cashel and Ballinamuck and the Cavan Crystal and Equestrian Centre in Cavan Town.
