As the 'Kerry Way Walking Route' passes to the rear of the cottage, the walker is well catered for and the route will take you right into the lovely heritage town of Kenmare (2.5 miles). The Ring of Kerry golf course is close by, with another in Kenmare itself, and just a few of the other activities on offer include horse riding, fishing or the 'Seafari' experience on the Kenmare Bay. The Ring of Kerry route (0.5 miles) will take you through some of Ireland's most spectacular scenery including Killarney (20 miles), with its world famous lakes and mountains. The Beara Peninsula, Glengarriff and Garnish Island are guaranteed to provide many memorable days. Shops and restaurant 2.5 miles, pub 2.75 miles. All on ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen.
