Excellent base for touring and walking This attractive stone built character cottage has been converted from an old coach house situated in a quiet courtyard adjacent to Dunstanburgh Castle Hotel, having its own south facing patio. The property is just 10 minutes walk from a superb sandy beach and magnificent sweeping bays at Embleton and Newton-by-the-Sea. It makes an excellent base for touring the whole of the unspoilt Northumberland region. For walkers there are miles of coastline and quiet country walks, and this is a good centre for birdwatching and golf. Other attractions include Alnwick Castle, home of 'Hogwarts', with its famous gardens and tree-house, and the Lindisfarne Gospels on Holy Island! Tourist Board 3 Key Commended.
