Locally there is a marvellous public swimming pool at Cymmer or visit the Afan Forest and Afan Argoed Park with stunning cycle and walking trails. Just 2.5 miles away there are the fishing lakes at Glyncorrwg and within easy travelling distance is Swansea, the Gower Peninsular, Cardiff and many other attractions. The Brecon Beacons National Park, The Big Pit, Welsh Folk Museum and the Welsh Botanic Gardens at Llanarthne are well worth a visit. There is golf, riding and bird watching nearby and many more activities for all ages locally and in the surrounding areas to enjoy. Shop, pub and restaurant 1.5 miles.
