W2306 is a delightful four bedroomed barn conversion with 1 acre of gardens and magnificent views over the rolling Northumbrian countryside. It has been most tastefully decorated and furnished to an extremely high standard whilst retaining its original character and provides superb holiday accommodation. W2307 is a spacious, one bedroomed, single-storey holiday cottage which has been well decorated and furnished to a good standard. W436 is also a spacious character cottage with a French window to a well kept, beautifully landscaped garden with small ornamental pond, exclusively for holidaymakers' use. Built in 1747, it has been beautifully converted to a very high standard with great character and charm, with open beams and oak panelling. The superb furnishings include an antique four poster bed. They provide an ideal base for walking with the Cheviot Hills, Harwood Forest and Kielder Forest close by or for exploring Northumbria and the Scottish Borders with their historical towns, castles, stately homes and gardens. 3 miles away at Belsay Hall with its 14th century Tower House, are magnificent grounds including a wooded park with lake, formal terraces and beautiful quarry garden. The historic house at Wallington (NT) is also 3 miles. Two miles north is Bolam Lake Country Park noted for its bird life. Newcastle and the Metro Centre are within easy driving distance. Shop, pub and restaurant 5 miles Lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin, 1 four poster bedroom.
