Inland you can visit the North York Moors National Park, made famous for filming the television series, "Heartbeat". For the keen ornithologist, Bempton RSPB Sanctuary is also close by or for the walking enthusiast walk the "Cleveland Way". Shop, pub and restaurant 0.5 miles.
