Situated in the small Cumbrian village of Flookburgh, near to the popular seaside village of Grange-over-Sands, it has distant views of Morecambe Bay and Humphrey Head, a popular spot for bird-watchers. It is superbly located for touring the Lake District, with its craggy fells and peaceful lakes alive with the beauty that inspired the poet William Wordsworth. For a day's outing, take a trip on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway which will take you on a scenic 7 mile journey to Eskdale, with its spectacular scenery. Shop and pub 200 yards.
