Alton Towers is just a 15-20 minute drive away. For an interesting day out, pay a visit to Matlock Bath, where you will find The Heights of Abraham. Here, a single ticket gives you a return trip by cable car, guided tours of two famous caverns and several other attractions for all the family. Shop and pub 0.5 miles, restaurant 2 miles.
