Slightly closer are the market towns of Beccles and Bungay where you can enjoy a day boat on the Norfolk Broads or browsing in the antique shops. The county town of Norwich is also easily accessible with its stunning cathedral and castle, a superb range of shops, places to eat and historic treasures. Thetford Forest is 22 miles away and has excellent nature trails, cycle routes and an adventure playground.
