The holiday cottage dates back to the early 1700s and has been extended at the rear to create a delightful kitchen/dining room. There are original exposed oak beams, an ornamental inglenook fireplace and with the careful renovation and modern facilities, it provides the holidaymaker with an ideal base all year round. Cockermouth is situated on the north west fringe of the Lake District National Park and has numerous amenities. It is only a short drive from Keswick and within easy reach of the M6 motorway. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.25 mile. Lounge, kitchen/diner, bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin, 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. Gas central heating, all fuel and power included in rent, bed linen included in rent, cot, 2 colour TVs, video, radio, washer/dryer, microwave, freezer, enclosed lawned garden, patio, garden furniture, on street parking for 1 car.
