Excellent scenery Detached cottage for 4. The road from Broadford to Elgol must be one of the most scenic on Skye with the Cuillin mountains to the right and Loch Slapin on the left. From the fishing village of Elgol there are views to Rùm and Eigg. This is certainly walking and climbing country with cycling, sailing/boat trips and sea fishing all on the doorstep. There is a wide variety of wild life including red deer, otters, buzzards and sea eagles. After a days activities pour out a glass of Talisker-the local whisky. Skye is quite an island, no wonder people return year after year. Remember your camera! Shop 500 yards, pub 15 miles, restaurant 200 yards. Lounge/diner, kitchen, utility room, bathroom with bath, toilet and basin, separate toilet and basin, 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin.
