Close to the beautiful Severn Estuary This cottage, one of two which is situated on the western banks of the River Severn is well appointed, decorated and furnished to a high standard in country cottage style and with a large sized garden to the rear of the property. This beautiful spot offers a wide choice of pursuits and activities for all ages. It is an ideal location for exploring the Royal Forest of Dean, Wales and the Cotswolds, with Monmouth, Glouscester, Cheltenham and Bristol all within easy driving distance. The nearby picturesque village of Newnham is steeped in history, connected to the river from where oak and timber was shipped out from the forest and from where the spectacular Severn Bore can be witnessed at certain times of the year. Rail enthusiasts should visit Lydney, home of the Dean Forest Railway and renowned model making shop. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.5 miles. Lounge, kitchen/diner, bathroom with toilet and basin, 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 single, sofa bed in lounge.
