Dartmoor National Park/Excellent base This 16th century, terraced holiday cottage set in the old stannary town of Ashburton on the southern edge of Dartmoor National Park, is very well presented. The cottage is located near some excellent upmarket towns, ideal for antique hunting or just dining out somewhere special. Enjoy wandering into the quaint town centre or exploring the National Park with its superb walking, scenery and wildlife. Locally there is Buckfastleigh Abbey, an open air pool (avail May to Sep) only 100 yards and the scenic South Devon Steam Railway. Shops, pubs and restaurants 100 yards. Ground floor: Lounge, kitchen/diner, separate toilet and basin. First floor: Bathroom with shower over bath, separate toilet and basin, 2 bedrooms: 1 king size with en-suite shower and basin, 1 twin. Gas central heating, all fuel and power included in rent May to September, £10 supplement October to April, bed linen and towels included in rent, colour TV, DVD player, video, radio, stereo/CD player, washer/dryer, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, enclosed terraced garden, patio, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking for 1 car.
