There are excellent opportunities for fishing in the area and the Otter Trust is close by. Rowing boats can be hired at Bungay and larger vessels can take you on to the Broads from Beccles. It is a short drive to the RSPB reserve at Minsmere and the unspoilt Suffolk coast whilst a varied day out may be enjoyed in the fine city of Norwich. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 0.5 miles.
