The property enjoys wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and is ideally situated in a peaceful corner of southern Lakeland to take advantage of all this area has to offer. Grizedale Forest lies between Coniston Water and Windermere, only 30 minutes drive away along with Langdale Fells and Ambleside, and its 4200 acres provide many recreational activities with nature trails, cycle ways and picnic areas. The market town of Ulverston is only a few miles away. Coniston at the north of the lake is a village of grey slate houses, dominated by craggy Old Man of Coniston, towering 2635 feet high and perfect for ardent hill walkers and experienced mountain climbers. Shop and restaurant 3 miles, pub 1 mile.
