This detached holiday cottage is situated less than two kilometres south of the seaside resort of Courtown. It is an ideal family holiday destination, having an on-site play area, tennis courts and easy access to Ardamine beach, ideal for swimming during the summer months.
Should the weather be less than perfect during your stay, why not spend the day at the nearby Forest Park Leisure Centre which boasts a 25m indoor pool, a separate children’s pool, 65m water slide fun pool and a gym, caf and beauty salon. It is also one of Ireland’s first eco-friendly leisure centres.
Courtown has developed from a thriving fishing village to a vibrant seaside resort, and has long been a favourite with both Irish holidaymakers and visitors from overseas. The village is centred on its harbour, home to Courtown Sailing School which offers lessons in dingy sailing and hosts regular races throughout the summer season. Crazy golf and bowling are available at Pirates Cove, which has a family restaurant and there are a number of amusement arcades along the waterfront.
There is a great choice of golf clubs in the area, including the local Courtown Golf Club and the nearby Gorey Golf Club. Fishermen will enjoy excellent course fishing at Courtown Harbour and sea angling along this part of the coast. Situated at the northern tip of County Wexford, Courtown is an ideal base from which to explore both the surrounding county and its neighbours, Wicklow and Waterford.
