Standing in a large secluded garden and with a large conservatory, it makes a lovely year round holiday home. Only half a mile from the sea and 1 mile from the centre of the town, it offers peace and quiet yet is within easy reach of both Exeter and Torquay as well as wide open spaces of Dartmoor. Places to visit in the surrounding area include Paignton Zoo, Buckfast Butterfly and Otter Sanctuary, Babbacombe Model Village, Bygones Victorian Village, Shaldon Wildlife Trust Powderham Castle and the historic towns of Dartmouth and Totnes on the River Dart. Nearby Dawlish Warren, with glorious sands is a paradise for children, and is situated on the estuary of the River Exe which is internationally known for its wildlife. There are two golf courses within a 10 minute drive. Shop 1 mile, pub 0.5 miles, restaurant 1 mile.
