The property is in an ideal holiday location for exploring Wales, whether on foot, car or bicycle. The cottage is situated close to the Cambrian Mountains and is on the Wye Valley walk, on the section from Rhayader to Builth Wells. It is close to the Elan Valley, and the Red Kite Centre, and the RSPB Protected Area is nearby, as is a Wildlife Protected Reserve. Other attractions include fishing on the Wye and Usk rivers and the Elan Valley Reservoirs. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.5 miles.
