It is a perfect location for walkers, with such places as Halham Cove, Gordale Scar, Ingleton Falls and the popular Stump Cross Cavers, all within easy driving distance. For the shoppers and browsers there are the market towns of Skipton, Clitheroe, Hawes and Settle itself. For the train enthusiast or that unusual day out there is the Settle to Carlisle railway.
