Close to harbour Lying close to the harbour in the famous Aberdeenshire fishing village of Pennan, the location of the film 'Local Hero', this fishermans cottage has been refurbished and equipped to a good standard. The coastline alternates between spectacular sheer cliffs with secluded coves and charming villages, many of which date back to the 13th century. There is something for everyone; golf, yachting, surfing, rich sea and river angling, renowned shooting and horse riding as well as the many festivals and exhibitions held throughout the year. The area boasts many ancient churches and castles and the Fraserburgh Lighthouse Museum and Aden Heritage Centre are close by, and excellent shopping can be found along with numerous traditional pubs and restaurants. Shops, pub and restaurant 3 miles. Ground floor: Lounge, kitchen/diner, utility room, bathroom with toilet and basin. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin with en-suite shower. Electric heating, all electricity included in rent, bed linen and towels included in rent, colour TV, DVD player, freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, garden. Sorry, no pets. No smoking, please.
