Peaceful location Dordogne The tiny hamlet of La Rivarie is approximately 3kms from the village square of St. Pierre-de-Côle, which has a restaurant, shops and a small supermarket. The busy market towns of Brantôme and Thiviers are 15km and Périgueux is 30km. The semi-detached cottage has a private rear garden and the large mature trees directly in front of the cottage, provide a shaded area for barbecues and outdoor dining. Internally, the cottage is spacious and well equipped with a four-poster bed in the main living area as it is often cooler than the upstairs bedrooms in the summer and cosy and romantic during the cooler months. Shop, café/bar, restaurant 3kms. Ground floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner, bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin. First floor: 1 double bedroom, mezzanine with 1 double bed plus single bed. Electric heating, woodburner in lounge (Oct - Apr fuel included), all other fuel and power included May to September, ?30 supplement October to April, colour TV, radio, cassette player, stereo/CD, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, lawned garden, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking for 2 cars. Sorry, no pets.
