400 year old character cottage This 400 year old character holiday cottage has tiny windows, low and impressive beams, several antiques, a stone staircase and sloping floors for a holiday with a difference. Cosily furnished and equipped, there are breathtaking views of the fells from the back door of the cottage. It is just a short walk from the centre of Coniston with its shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs with Coniston Water beyond. Fabulous walking, literally from the door, from a location in the heart of the Lake District. Shops 300 yards, pub 25 yards. Lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin, 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. Storage heaters, open fire in lounge, all fuel and power included in rent, bed linen included in rent, colour TV, microwave, patio, outdoor furniture, off road parking for 1 car. Sorry, no pets.
