Panoramic views The view across the valley greets you as you enter this sympathetically restored cottage. Set in the Snowdonia National Park, it is one of four stone terraced cottages in a hillside hamlet overlooking Penmachno village, and is a superb base for walkers and anglers. Penmachno village is the main village in the Machno Valley, a rural and hidden valley away from the hurley-burley of modern life. Betws-y-Coed (golf) is 5 miles and Llanrwst (8 miles), both have great shopping. There is a dry ski slope at Capel Curig which is 12 miles, Conwy Castle, Conwy Falls and Portmeirion are 20 miles. Bodnant Gardens are 15 miles and Llandudno is 20 miles away. Shops 5 miles, restaurant 4 miles, pub in the village. Ground floor: lounge/kitchen/diner, shower room with toilet and basin, First floor: 1 double bedroom plus 2 single beds. 2 night storage heaters, electricity included in rent, bed linen included in rent, colour TV, patio, parking for 1 car.
