This cosy and romantic cottage with sun-deck and pond is surrounded by half an acre of natural gardens which are backed by an ancient beech wood, and is only 150 metres from the shores of Loch Sween. Completely detached, the cottage is in an ideal location for exploring the varied coastline of the quiet peninsula (which is rich in bird and sea life) or alternatively there is varied walking in the rolling hills, or golden beaches at Castle Sween and Kilmory. Local boat trips from Crinan allow exploration of a myriad of small islands inhabited by colonies of seals, and there are day trips to the islands of Jura, Islay and Gigha. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and hotels all serving local dishes and will leave any visitor with an eagerness to return to this beautiful area again and again. Steps to entrance.
