Set in the magnificent location of the Trossachs within the National Park, this stylish cottage is only 5 yards from Loch Katrine, where breathtaking views can be seen and cruises on the famous steam ship Sir Walter Scott can be enjoyed. With stunning views of Ben Lomond, Ben Ledi and Ben Venue the area may be explored on foot or bicycle along one of the many marked footpaths. In a very picturesque area, The Old Smiddy is near excellent fishing, walking, cycling, golf, pony trekking and watersports. Aberfoyle (11 miles) is situated on the edge of the Trossachs with a great selection of local shops including crafts, woollens and coffee shops.
