The surrounding area offers good walking, cycling, fishing, pony trekking and lovely sandy beaches, while Lochgilphead (16 miles) has shops, restaurants, an indoor swimming-pool and golf. It is a short walk to historic Castle Sween or drive to the award winning archeology museum in Kilmartin for an alternative day out. Enjoy a seafood meal in picturesque Tayvallich or Crinan and the wonderful sunsets back at the cottage.
