One of a pair, Fisherman's Cottage is set in the grounds of another cottage, sharing its driveway. The fishing village of Carradale is just half a mile away with its vast sandy beach, scenic 9-hole golf course, shops and an hotel with an excellent restaurant. The village also offers a very pretty harbour with a small fishing fleet, a wildlife reserve and a good example of a vitrified fort, on a small tidal island off the headland. This is a wonderful area for forest and coastal walks, swimming, water sports, and picnics on pristine beaches.
