In a glorious rural setting on the slopes of a green valley, this is an exceptionally pretty, terraced property, dating back to the 16th century, right in the heart of Chianti. Terracotta floors, beamed ceilings, traditional furniture and private terraces are all features of the three pretty apartments we have chosen for our guests. Each is attractive and comfortable and all interlink - useful for larger groups. From the windows and terraces there are wonderful views of the 'tended' grounds and a wilder landscape of meadows and gorse-covered hills beyond. The friendly English-speaking owner lives in a separate farmhouse. She is a magnificent cook, and guests can book a Tuscan welcome dinner at the long rustic table outside her property (arrivals no later than 18:30 please).
