This beautiful, many centuries old, stone farmhouse stands in a private setting in the midst of lovely countryside. The lovely tear-shaped pool is set in a delightful spot within the extensive grounds comprising of oak and fir trees, fields, vineyards, orchard of fruit trees, two brooks and a river. The kitchen is well equipped for catering for large parties. The upstairs living room and study provide quiet areas for reading or relaxing. The terrace is spacious, with shaded and sunny areas. The covered loggia, reached from the study, is perfect for an evening drink. Casanova makes an excellent base for exploring the Chianti region. The 'Chiantigiana' (wine route) starts nearby, and Siena is about a 20-minute drive away. There are many beautiful paths, ideal for short and long walks (15 minutes to 2 hours) in a beautiful, constantly changing and markedly undulating (90 metre) landscape. Pisa airport is also close by.
