A perfect base for exploring this enchanting area of Tuscany, these semi-detached cottages are set in a small, tranquil hamlet. Casa Emma, once a shepherd's dwelling, has steep wooden staircases, cosy little bedrooms, exposed wooden beams (low in parts) and terracotta floors. Le Meridiane, the smaller of the two, a wood-burning stove and en-suite shower room. Ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. First floor: Double bedroom. 2 shower rooms with toilet. Second floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin, both reached by separate wooden staircases. Open fire in living room.
