This large villa is situated in an exclusive residential area just 3 km from the beautiful walled city of Lucca and 20 km from the coast. From the peaceful gardens it is difficult to imagine that the bustling city of Lucca is such a short distance away. In a hillside position, the house benefits from a Mediterranean planted garden bordered by a pine wood. Guests have an independent entrance, which is all on one level and completely self contained, occupying one wing of the house - the unobtrusive and helpful owners live in the other wing. Spacious and charming, the interior is nicely furnished with large bedrooms and pleasant views from the bedroom and sitting room windows. For guests wishing to take advantage of the nearby beaches, in high season the owner is happy to help you reserve the use of a parasol (to be requested in advance, payable locally) on the lovely beach of Forte dei Marmi, about 35 km from Lucca.
