This beautiful old manor house, situated near the fashionable town and lovely sandy beaches of La Baule, is set in 250 acres of woodland and meadows in the middle of a well-tended garden. St. Lyphard is on the edge of the Brière Regional Park, a network of waterways where you can take canal trips in pole-driven punts with a Brière guide. La Baule and the Guérande Peninsula, with its 9km of sandy beach, is an excellent family resort with numerous children's clubs. Other attractions include the wild beauty of the rocky coast, the medieval town of Guérande, the famous 'Fleur de Sel', and the wonderful seafood of La Turballe and Piriac. The property interior is typical of a French country manor house; classically furnished with lovely period pieces, polished floors, elegant gilt mirrors and even a wall-mounted moose head in the entrance hall!
