This is a beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished 17th-century listed building where features have been preserved, such as old floor tiles, the great fireplace and the high beamed ceilings in the spacious sitting room. The dining room has a long refectory-style table and is next to the small, but well-equipped kitchen. French windows lead to a raised terrace, ideal for dining outside. There are nearly 50 acres of grounds to explore and early risers may see the occasional deer. In front of the house is a wide, open grassy area, with the swimming pool on the one side (about 100m from the house) and woodland on the other. Beyond that, about 500m away, is a large pond. Adjoining house is an 18th-century property where the owners spend an occasional short holiday, in which case the grounds, pool and tennis court would be shared with them. Ground floor: Living room.
