Just across the road from a sandy beach, this enchanting cottage has wonderful views over Kilbrannan Sound to the Isle of Arran - seals, otters, sea-birds and porpoise are regular sights. With a pretty garden beside a fast-flowing burn, it is set in the picturesque hamlet of Grogport, once a secret haven for whisky smugglers, and is 4miles from Carradale, with shops, restaurant, golf, sea fishing and riding as well as a wildlife reserve and 2000-year-old vitrified fort. The two beaches are a major attraction - one sandy and one shingle, where seals can often be seen. Ferries for Arran, Islay, Jura and Gigha are within touring distance. Campbeltown 14miles, offers two whiskey distilleries, a delightful museum, heritage centre and day-trips to Davaar Island. Sitting-room with electric `wood-burning' stove.
