Gate House is a pretty, stone-built cottage built in 1876 and was originally the old school house. Standing detached opposite the lovely old church of St. James, it is the gate house to the red brick vicarage where the owners reside. Positioned in a peaceful village setting, this a perfect holiday location for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. After being made redundant from school life it did, for a number of years, serve as a coach house, hay store and stable until more recently, when it has been lovingly restored into the cosy cottage it is today.
