In a truly idyllic setting, this cosy detached cottage nestles in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and enjoys wonderful views over the rolling Shropshire countryside from its slightly elevated position. Close to the owners' home, it is surrounded by woodlands and fields where pleasant walks can be taken, and its location makes it an excellent base for touring the immediate area as well as nearby North Wales. Internally, its compact and characterful interior displays beams, exposed stone work and some pieces of antique furniture, together with a warming wood-burning stove. Shropshire hill country is an untamed natural habitat for buzzards, kites, badgers and other rare birds. Of local interest are The Stiperstones, a national monument.
