Within easy reach are Amberley Wild Brooks with RSPB nature reserve; Arundel Castle and Wildfowl Trust; the Amberley Museum; the Roman Villa at Bignor; the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum at Singleton; Chichester with its Festival Theatre; and racing at Fontwell and Goodwood, as well as plenty of country houses and gardens to visit nearby.
