These three superb properties (two adjoining, one detached) are situated on the lovely 200-acre Strawberry Hill Estate in 1066 country which includes a working farm, 60 acres of ancient woodland and 2 lakes. Approached via electronic gates and long driveway, the farmhouse and cottages are furnished and presented to a high standard and enjoy a totally secluded position with views over the fields and woodlands of the estate. Lower Morgay Farmhouse and Lower Morgay Farm Cottage can both be booked together to accommodated larger groups, whilst Quince Cottage makes the perfect romantic retreat. The estate boasts a helipad, helicopter charter and a 60ft luxury yacht charter (by arrangement), with catering also available for functions including dinner parties. Historic Battle lies just 6 miles away with its dominating Abbey, situated on the spot where King Harold was killed, and now open to the public with an exhibition to visit, and abbey ruins to discover. Within easy reach is the seaside resort of Hastings with its 1066 links and many attractions for all the family including the old town, castle, smugglers' cave, the Sea Life Centre and Hastings Pier. Worth a visit is medieval Rye, a popular picturesque town with its Ypres Tower, St Mary's Church and many historic inns, tearooms and restaurants. Nearby Winchelsea village provides traditional shops and tearooms on cobbled streets and a lovely pebbled beach south of the village. Conveniently located for access to coastal resorts and beaches, the South Downs, Tunbridge Wells and a wealth of local attractions.
