Set in a small hamlet in an AONB on the Cumbrian/ Northumbrian borders, this charming, comfortable cottage is part of an old chapel and adjoins the owners' home. Boasting good walking on the Pennine Way just 100 yards from the door. Fishing locally, as well as climbing and bird watching, there is plenty to enjoy in the immediate area. With an RSPB reserve and an SSSI both nearby, at Talkin Tarn, 6 miles, there is boating, fishing, sail boarding and a nature trail. A fine base for the Eden Valley, Lake District and Borders and for exploring Carlisle and Hadrian's Wall. Shop and pub 3 miles. Ground floor: Open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen, 1 bedroom with either 2 single beds or large double, shower room & toilet. Z-bed avail (share main bedroom) for a child up to 10 years.
