Converted from an ancient field barn, this detached cottage is stylishly enhanced by old colonial teak furniture sourced from India and the Far East. At the heart of a traditional upland hill farm in the North Pennine AONB, it is surrounded by some of the most dramatic unspoilt moorland scenery in England. Great walking from the door, with access to meadows, farmland and a network of footpaths criss-crossing the fells, whilst a little further afield are mountains, moors and the Lakes. Guests are welcome to join in feeding and caring for farm animals, which include ewes, Highland cattle, ducks, chickens, geese, dogs, and a cat. Pub 2 miles.
