Created from attractive mellow brick farm buildings, these two comfortable and immaculately maintained cottages adjoin each other and overlook the pastureland of the River Dove. Set in the conservation village of Ellastone, reputedly the setting for George Eliot's 'Adam Bede'. Many outdoor activities and attractions await with cycle hire and trails within 5 miles and excellent walking all around. Should you tire of enjoying the invigorating fresh air, Stoke on Trent, 12 miles, offering pottery museums and factory shops. Accessible NT properties include Kedleston, Sudbury, Calke Abbey, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. An excellent base for touring Dovedale and discovering Alton Towers, 1½ miles, Ashbourne, Buxton and Bakewell. Shop 3 miles, pub within 200 yards. Ground floor: Three steps up to kitchen/dining area, lounge, 1 double bedroom, bathroom with shower over bath & toilet. No room for cot. Services for both properties: Welcome tea tray. Elec heaters.
