It is set within its own extensive, established gardens with a Mediterranean-style walled courtyard at the front of the house, an ideal sun spot for a relaxing glass of wine in the afternoon. The main enclosed rear garden boasts panoramic views overlooking the Atlantic and Lundy Island where visitors can sit and watch the sun set down through the valley. Within walking distance is Spekes Mill Mouth with its waterfall and rock pools, and the nearby coastal footpath offers wonderful walks with breathtaking views and spectacular scenery along the Hartland Heritage Coast. After enjoying a day's walking along some of the most impressive sections of the coastal path, return to the house and enjoy a relaxing sauna in the impressive Scandinavian-style 8-person sauna suite. Within easy reach is Bude (14 miles), a fine seaside town popular with surfers, with extensive sandy beaches, a large sea water swimming-pool, good shops, inns and restaurants. Further down this dramatic coast and within easy driving distance is the fascinating and highly acclaimed Eden Project. Clovelly with its steep cobbled street down to the fishing harbour is just 4 miles and the market town of Bideford with its historic port, offering trips to Lundy Island for bird watching and diving, is half an hour's drive away.
