This pretty, detached cottage stands in the oldest part of Hathersage, as described by Charlotte Brontë in the novel `Jane Eyre'. With lovely views over gently undulating hills and fields. Brass rubbings of the replica `Eyre' brasses are permitted at the nearby church, and with Little John's grave and countless other Robin Hood sites in the area, there is lots to see and do. Locally, activities and attractions abound, including many superb walks from the doorstep, and facilities for golf and fishing. A little further afield are Castleton Blue John Caverns, Peveril Castle, Bakewell, Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Eyam Hall and Matlock Bath. With water sports at Carsington Water, there will never be a dull moment. Shops 500 yards, pub 100 yards.
