This detached modern villa, standing in large grassy grounds, in a quiet residential area, is set on the hillside on the edge of Mimet where there are good local shops, café and restaurant. This is good walking country with nearby marked footpaths leading to the Massif de l'Etoile, from whose summit can be seen the plain stretching out to the Mediterranean at Marseille. The elegant city of Aix-en-Provence with its museums, festival and renowned Cours Mirabeau, the lively beach resorts of Cassis and La Ciotat and the sheltered calanques and sandy beaches can all be reached in about half an hours drive through the countryside and landscapes made famous by Marcel Pagnol.
